Dubmorphology with guest sonic adventurer dub basist Dr Das, poet HKB FiNN, vocalist Sonia Mehta and percussionist Ramjac, they will create a performance laboratory in the tanks @tate modern today and tomorrow.
This link is from the rereleased cd “IR21 : Still Dancing On John Wayne’s Head ” by The Fire This Time, this 1998 asian dub foundation mix of the track “Reluctant Warrior” this is the original 4 trak mix that later became”committed to life” released on their cd “community music”.The vocals on this piece are by Assatta Shakur recorded in Havanna ,Cuba.This recording has been rereleased in 2010 on the I.R label www.dubreality.com.This slideshow features images of among others adivasi demonstrators from india,activists yuri kogiyama and mumia abu jamal. As dr das has pointed out” slideshows are like the ‘dub version’ of film and are an underrated/used medium”.

Dubmorphology performed Kosmisca in April 2011. Kosmica was a live electronic set and audio visual tribute to the first man in space. Part of a worldwide celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s flight.
